The Women RISE Inception Workshop
The Women RISE inception workshop was held on 24 -26 January 2023 in Nairobi. Over 80 participants attended physically with 15 joining the meeting virtually. The main outcomes of the workshop were:
- The value of regional annual workshop where teams share and learn from peers. This workshop will also enable the HPRO to conduct region-based skill building sessions. We share more information on this below.
- The need for a high-level regional political, economy analysis on gender .

Upcoming Skill Building Sessions
The HPRO is planning a series of capacity-strengthening workshops for all the 23 research team members. This year, there will be two workshops.
- The workshop on Data story telling will held on June 22, 2023
- The workshop on Statistical Analyses in Quantitative Research will be held on October 5, 2023.
